    Danny the Mod aka (God the Mod) I`m a very cynical person but were th **** did you disappear to? I must admit I doubted wether we would hear from you ever agian. My apologies Charlie. What have you been doing since the80s mate? come to think of it, if you could tell me what I was doing DURING the 80s I would appreciate it lol

    Danny, are you the guy thats in a few of the pictures that I've posted up ? Hung aboot wi Semple and came fae Singer ? If so, I'll get your email address and post them on.

    Rab, hoo ye daein ? You used tae hiv some photees o me and you doon The Bandstand, dae ye styll hiv them ? If so, we'll need tae make arrangements tae git them posted up. I used tae hiv some photees o Gerry MacFadyen, but in true Gerry style, he stole them aff me when I crashed oot at ma ane perty. Need tae post the story o Gerry and me gaun tae Lincoln oan the Lambretta.

    Charlie, hoo ye daein, I need tae concur wi Wee Rab, that the article is indeed frae The Riverside Club, (Tycket posted up), I indeed saw it, as I wis in it.

    Rab remember Stevie very fondly aboot gaun thru the shoap windae, spoke tae him a few years ago, and gave him some copies o the photees that hes in, as he didnae hae ainy o himself. Oan a side note, Stevie, had a newspaper article about that incident, 600 Mods invading Girvan, dont know if he still has it, but it would be a good addition to the syte !

    Isabel, long tyme no hear etc etc what e'er became o Willie Smith frae Johnstone ? I bought his 50 Special aff him a lang tyme ago, Frae an add in the Evening Times.

    Jist fur the record, who still has their Glasgow Civics badge ? mynes is in a tin somewhaur alang wi ma Glasgow Mods badge, I will post them when I cam across them.

    Rab, all I kin remember aboot the Pierce Institute, is Big Jasons mun getting punched by some casuals prior to gittin in ! correct me if I'm wrang wi that. Whit ere became o Big Jake ? last I knew he wis wi Sharon frae Dunfermline and in Glasgows East End. Bumped intae wee John-Paul (the ted), who hung aboot wi Big Jason a few years back, hes living oan Glasgows sooth side.

    Gonzo finally foond ma Glasgow Civics badge, it is indeed blue+yellow with black lettering, hopefully I can get it uplifted into the site within the next few days. Just foond ma Ian Mclagan and Eleanor Rigby autographs, just waitin' fur Jimmy to post them up.

    Jim I bumped into Jp a few times and he`s working as a chief....lol I mean chef. Big Jasons mum did get a clip at that do but it was inside as the guys came into the foyer and bolted the doors?????????? why only they know. Big Jake? seen him about ten years or more at parkhead cross. Just apoint about the civic badges, blue and yellow with black writting designed by Jason Bleakley.

    A big hello to all the surviving Glasgow Civics.
    Wasn't it a bit of a surprise to find all you guys here. I'm still living in England 10 miles outside Heathrow, with my young lady (Sue) and my seven year old son (Sam) - who is just as incredibly handsome as his father. I'll be in Glasgow for a fortnight from tomorrow (Mon 7th April). I have spoken to Charlie and Jimmy yesterday and i am planning on meeting up over the next few weeks it would be great if as many of you headbangers can join us as possible for a wee swally. However I would like to protest greatly about the absence of any photos of me on my putt-putt!!! Should anyone find any stuck down the back of their couch, wipe it down and post it up!!!

    I remember the Pierce Institute do, especially the battle wi casuals in the foyer.
    Fu**in wrecked my right foot winkle picker wi kickin one of the wee neds aboot the heid - point ended up all crumpled. Also lost my carry oot to the wee bast**ds.
