Buy an original copy and frame it with plaque below - in memory of ped - put it up in twisted wheel.

Here Jimmy everytime your photo appears in these photos I hear that Tony Harts theme from the t.v years ago what was it? Harts Gallery or something? All the kids drawings, the tunes stuck in my head, hee hee! Remember wee Tam Glencross with his badly drawn side panels that looked dyslexic, "MORPHENIA, A WAY OF LIFE" all the Quadrophenia figures looked like Lowry's "Pictures Of Matchstick Men Cats And Dogs!" He never lived that down, did he? Ha,ha!

Greetings friends, Great to see you all again and lets not leave it so long the next time folks. I felt like a kid again until the potent mix of exitment and vodka overcame me and i had to retreat to the smokers terrace to recover lol, It would be great if we had such do's every 3 or 4 months. I didnt even know Angie (SHOUT) Sneddon was there until i seen the photos. Im sure i'll catch up with her at the next do. If you were to keel over nowadays in the bandstand I don't think many people would think it would be anything to do with old age, old smack maybe, but not old age. Anyway, whatever happened to the Mod version of Dial a bus; 'Dial a Vespa.' I would have said Lambretta as well but the idea of having to push the thing up to the Beat Club would defeat the purpose somewhat.

If I am out of touch and Lambrettas have been made reliable in the past two decades please accept my sincere apologies everyone.

Carry outs? That was a 12 volt battery and jump leads in case we keeled over and were urged not to embrace the light during kick starting our Auld tickers, the young lasses were my carers in the Band Stand photos! Dial A Bus was on a day release from the Funny Farm! Brilliant photos! Cheers every one who participated, too my 2 "Bouncers" on the door, Welchy and Speno a.k.a "Jack and Victor" I owe you'se a Tunnocks Tea Cake and a Viscount biscuit each in lieu of payment for Door Duties!

Not quite as many at the bandstand as the old days, but still very impressive.

I do like the cases that the carry outs were held in. Back in the early 80s we were happy enough with a Haddows bag.
