    • The film did indeed change a lot of lives then and even now, still a classic. I live in London now, was a Govan Mod from 81 and hung about the Scene and Lindella. I've got to know an old mod...

  • Again Janny very interesting well done your doing great
  • Mrs Murray Mint, you seem to have a lot to say for yourself these days haha

Good article Janny, I'm halfway there to mastering this sound malarky, so in due course Chris will be able to help you out haha
  • Jim with the Glasses maybe im coming out of my shell must be a scottish thing
  • Jackie it's just as well people don't hear your accent when posting comments, cause they would be totally confused with your last comment haha
  • Must start my scottish accent lessons back up again maybe another visit is needed.
  • Oh no, I'm still recovering from the last one
  • Got to keep you on your toes Jim watch out you never know when i might appear haha.
  • Agree some music would be good something like "Carnaby Chick" perhaps??
  • Oh, forgot to say that the second pic is of Quant and the lovely Vidal Sassoon.
  • Great article about Mary Quant Janny. I know she was famous for the mini skirt, however did you know that there was also a designer range of mini cars and Mary Quant was one those designers included in that collection. Here's a few wee photo's:-

  • Great article yet again Janny on another 60s fashion icon. The 60s must be one of the only times when mainstream style was not a contradiction in terms. And don't pay any heed to 'Jim with the Glasses' he is one of the computer voodo guys, not me.
  • Thanks for input Lammy, I did know about the Quant minis. Looking forward to you and Jackie doing some posts, to try and compete with all the blokes!!
  • computer voodoo eh? Should have gone to Specsavers.
  • nice post janny, your catching the lads and possibly overtaking them .... ha takes a woman to do a mans job ... LILI :-);-)
  • I think you are forgetting that there is now no such thing as a man's job Jimmy. We are now in a time of gender equality and jobs are all now gender neutral. So you will now be more than welcome to apply for that post as a Bunny Person.
  • Anybody else downloaded the Toolbar for their computer yet ? all feedback would be greatly appreciated for the site.

This guy Jimmy is way ahead of the rest of the field, the only thing is, just when yu think your getting to grips with all this technology, something else pops up !
  • What's a computer ?
  • Mike Proctor done a song in 1966 called "Mr Computer" it's on Columbia records, If you can get a copy for under £200 buy it, then you'll know what a computer is !!!
  • I thought he was one of these cricket people !
  • Hi Janny would love to do a post would'nt have a clue where to start.
  • Jackie - re writing posts - E-mail admin, he can give the "force" to us young Skywalkers!!
  • Jackie for editor, at least we know the site would be in safe hand.

How about an article on Randall and Hopkirk that good old classic 6ts TV programme, you should be able to identify with that ! haha

You've got plenty of pictures, get a few together and write about that day or whatever the event was.
