Hi Stu i haven't seen Mark for ages or Annemarie or Audrey i have been on here before and checked out the site and i thought i would check it out again and what the hell are the fecking odds on your comment being here a small world indeed.... This website is really good i remember all the photo's from the girvan trip i went on with all the guys.....Anyways keep in touch through here and if your up in Glasgow we could go for a pint in the Pollok Inn :-)

rab!!! allright big man,what an amazing thing this computer is come to this site and i'm seeing names and faces i have'nt seen for decades. youre jist the man i wanted to get back in touch with how are you, how did you find my post on the site .how are things with you and your family ,do you ever see mark any more, i havent heard about wee j or paul for years as ive been living in london now for about 15 years,im settled here with a little family of my own 2 kids one girl and one boy but hopefully ill be in glesga atsome point this year and we could link up don no if i could fit my suit either all the best hope to hear back soon we are the mods, the light still burns bright stu allan.

hello audrey, my name is stuart allan i used to be in your art class at crookie,it was a mad trip to find this site and some of the first photo's i saw were you,louie,annemarie and my old mate mark anderson is there no photos of rab louie's brother it would be great to catch up as i have some happy memories of the times we all had together.glad to see your settled with a family are you still in cardonald hope for a reply,all the best from a friend from long long ago.

hahaha the Ace Face on the c90 was a legend day.... I remember Glasgow polis asking us to stop and tell them where we were going and everyone just walking by themignoriung them...all the way to Central hahaha...

Clan Customs done m y Salvador Dali vespa some 14 years ago....best murals I ever had on a scoot, fair play to John...he was based near teh renfrew abattoir back then

I found the link u were talkin about on a vw forum.
Theres no record of the scoot - but i did find info on 3 others i owned.
1 hasnt been taxed since the 80's, and 2 others haven't been taxed since the 90's.
Theres a lot of scooters been scrapped or sittin around somewhere rustin away.

Tuc - whats the reg no link?
I had an old blue vespa in the 80's - i thought it was a sportique.
Only after selling it on, did i read an article in a scooter mag about the same model.
It wasnt a sportique - very similiar but it was an italian import with small changes that helped to distinguish it from a sportique - there was only 2 of them known to be in the uk at the time. Could never find out what happened to it after i sold it.
Could be doing with the link to see if its still about.

Davie i think the guy from balfron was called Jack, he painted your rally when mcginn owned it. The ace face had no links to the W.E.M. Charlie. I distinctly remember looking in my mirrors and he was heading east. I also remember he had east end mods on the back of his parka. Ok i may have made that bit up haha.

Tuc - the pic of the super is from the mid 80's. It belonged to one of the clydebank mods - gerry ramsay.
It was painted by a guy from balfron - cant remember his name but theres folks here who will. I think he was a member of the GVC and painted quite a few scoots for folks at the time.
