The Luvvers - Most Unlovely

More remembered for being the backing band to Lulu and storming the charts with “Shout” in 1964, here we have a rare 45 by The Luvvers from 1966, called “Most Unlovely” which was the B side and can only be described as an uptempo club dancer.

    Stevie, I hope your going to be commenting on more of the sites articles, theres plenty here. What about these Mod Nights in Vinters !!!! your the only person to "come out" and say they where there and The Polish Club jukebox is sounding good.

    well, it was mod night (singular) and i think it closed around 1am. but it did swell the club's coffers by around £20 after expenses. big money in 1985!
    of course speno disappeared with all the loot, muttering something about having to buy paint for the club helmets, so i'm still owed my share to this day.

    had a quick squint on google and found very little about the luvvers. (plenty about lulu, though.)

    On a sidenote Stevie, Do you remember Lisa from Paisley who went to the Polish Club ? her dad was in The Luvvers, not sure though if he was the one that sadly passed away a few years back.

    Lulu and The Luvvers done an EP from 65, never owned a copy but it might be worthwhile getting a copy.
