SOME GOOD NEWS JUST ARRIVED......... Mr and Mrs Bleakley would like to announce the safe arrival of their baby boy Ash Oisin Uilleam Bleakley, who was born on 18th December 2008 at 15.34, weight 7pounds 10ounces!!!! Well done Sue!!! I did wonder if the moniker had something to do with his father's likings for "substances" that shall remain undisclosed - he always was a bit dodgy, I remember him trying to push slug pellets to some unsuspecting class mates in second year!!

You have obviously got the benefit of knowing the guy in question Janny. I have a feeling I know what the 'substance' is that you are referring to. I am not so keen on people pushing slug pellets. Someone sold us them as uppers once, but in reality they made me feel a bit sluggish. Ok, I'll collect my parka quickish !

i'm up in Glasgow for Hogmany - just heard my wee 14 year old nephew and his mates all want to be Mods now!
Just to add, once again - if any of the kids out there (who are the real mods) want to add anything to this site you are more than welcome...we are just keeping the flame burning - it's down to you lot to 'set the house ablaze' once again!

Glad to hear that Stevie, when I was living in London, my niece came down to stay with me for a week, along with my ma, met them at Kings Cross, she turned up wearing my Fish Tail Parka( Hadn't seen her since was 11,) She was 17 by then and after we said the usual "Long time no see" She asked me "Uncle Charlie, have you heard of Paul Weller?" I know the feeling Stevie, it's magic eh? "Green Onions" as she calls herself, more like "Green Teeth" ha, ha!! Is lovin' the Mod lifestyle, 28 now and that makes me feel proud as a Peacock in full plummage!!
